Timeless Tulips Meet Parisian Blossoms

While I’ve been playing with the Timeless Tulips stamps, I’ve been trying them with different designer series papers. For this card, I used products from the Parisian Blossoms Suite from the Jan-June 2020 Mini Catalog.

This time, I wanted to try stamping the tulip and adding shading with sponge daubers. For color inspiration I selected this background paper from the Parisian Blossoms specialty designer series paper. It’s Petal Pink in color with a lovely line pattern in Cherry Cobbler. I love this paper, but I also picked it because I would not have put those two colors together. (more…)

Use Reversible Stamps for More Versatility

The Cup of Christmas stamp set has some great images, but the fun thing about it is that  some of the stamps are reversible. What does that mean and how does it work?

The feature stamps in this set are three mugs: one in polka dots, one in stripes, and one that is an outline. They are the reversible stamps. They are photopolymer, a bit thicker than regular stamps, and you can place each one on your block so that the handle is on either the left of the right. (more…)
