Celebrate my Stampin’ Up! Anniversary with me!

January 19, 2017|Posted in: Get Involved, Specials, Stuff

January is my anniversary month as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. This year its a milestone anniversary – number 15. When I signed up I thought I would do it for a year or two, but here I am 15 years later and still loving it!

Rather than just celebrate one month I’ve decided to celebrate all year long. I’ll be sharing my 15 year journey over the course of the year. I’ll have some fun things for you, my customers and friends, such as a monthly drawing, a party later this year, and a few more things that I am planning. Let the celebration begin!

I’ll start with the monthly drawing, but first a short trip down memory lane. Here’s some photos from the catalog  of 2002, the year I signed up.

I have saved one catalog from each year, but I haven’t looked at the old ones in ages. I flipped through this one after I snapped the photo. My how styles have changed! I also recognized a few of the older stamp sets that I still have. Yikes. Although I do keep some of my favorite sets, I have sold many retired stamps over the course of the past 15 years so I was a little surprised.

This is a set I no longer have but it was a fun one, Tags & More. It was a hostess set that year. But I still have this little pin with my Christmas jewelry. (I think some of my longtime customers will remember this set.)

As I recall, it was a class project. We stamped on some thin chipboard, colored with markers, sponged around the edges, added VersaMark ink to the front and embossed with clear embossing powder. Added a pin to the back, and that was it. Cute and easy to do.

Now, about that monthly drawing. Each month the prize will be something different. I’ll tell you what it will be at the first of each month (or later in the case of January). For every $15 in product that you order during the month, you’ll get an entry for the drawing. It’s that easy! I’ll keep track of the numbers and entries, then draw a winner on the last day of each month. All you have to do is place an order!

Since 15 is one of Stampin’ Up’s Milestone anniversaries, it seems appropriate to start with the new stamp set, Milestone Moments. It’s one of those sets that may not jump off the page, but you can use it forever.

It works for all types of celebrations and with all types of images. I may be off to a late start announcing this, but there’s still time for you to place an order for January!
