May your glass always be half full

Well. A short break for a few weeks turned into a long break of a few months away. Where does the time go? I just started introducing new Annual Catalog stamps! Now I’m back today with a card using one of my favorite sets from the new Holiday Catalog, Half Full.

Yes, I like wine, so the images appealed to me. But I also like the fact that this set can be used throughout the year. This card is an example.

Be Mine with Bloomin’ Hearts

The Bloomin’ Love stamp set and Bloomin’ Heart Thinlets make such beautiful cards. I’ve seen cards ranging from very clean and simple, to very layered and complex. There are a few steps for my card, but I think it’s still fairly easy to make.

Presto Chango

Earlier this month I attended On Stage, a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator event. One of the fun things to do at these events  is to swap.  Since I didn’t make a lot of time for my swaps, I pulled a few of my cards and made new versions. Here is a card from a class I held last spring. I love the Bermuda Bay and Blackberry Bliss color combo, with the dash of Delightful Dijon.

However, some of the elements for this card are retired, so I played around with some new elements and … Presto Chango … same card with new color combo!
