Here’s to you

I recently attended an event at the new Crane Brewing Taproom (for those of you in the Raytown MO area). And I recently got the stamp set Mixed Drinks. So I made a card using the beer mug.
One of things I like about this set is that you don’t need to color your drinks. Each glass type has a matching “liquid” image to fit. And its photopolymer, so its really easy to use.
I stamped the mug in Momento black ink, then used Crushed Curry for the beer. The little banner is from the set Thoughtful Banners. Mixed Drinks includes several sentiments. I wanted something short so I used a Basic Black marker to ink a portion of one sentiment “Here’s to you and your amazingness.” Now I don’t have to worry about sending it only to someone who is amazing. [she said with a smile].
The background paper is from the soon-to-be-retired Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper. Then, just to dress it up a little I added two stars from the metallic enamel shapes, and added a bit of Wink of Stella: clear on the foam and gold on the beer. I think this will be a good birthday card for a few of the guys, and beer drinkers, in my family.

- Halloween Night Specialty DSP (Holiday Catalog item # 142022 cut to 3-3/4 x 5″
- Crushed Curry card stock (AC #131199) cut to 2-1/2 x 2-3/4″
- Whisper White card stock (AC #100730) cut to 2-3/8 x 2-1/2″
- Stamp beer mug image from Mixed Drinks stamp set (AC #141928) on white card stock with Momento Black Ink (AC #132708). Add “beer” image stamped in Crushed Curry Ink (AC #131173).
- Stamp banner image from Thoughtful Banners stamp set (AC #141614) in Crushed Curry ink on a scrap of Whisper White. Punch out using the Duet Banner Punch (AC #141483).
- Using a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker (AC #100082) ink Here’s to You portion of sentiment from Mixed Drink and stamp on banner. Add two gold stars from Metallic Enamel Shapes (AC #141678 )
- Use Clear Wink of Stella (AC #141897) and Gold Wink of Stella (AC #141898) to add a little shine to beer.
