An Old Fashioned Card Using Whiskey Business

I’ve made a few cards with the Whiskey Business set and for the most part I have used watercoloring. I’ve done a couple with Stampin’ Blends, too. This card is watercoloring on Shimmery White card stock. The glass and the decanter need simple coloring, so the Shimmery White forces me to not overwork the painting.

I kept everything in yellow this time, as though the whisky is reflecting on the glass. And it gives off a bit of warmth. To ground the images, I splashed a bit of Gray Granite underneath. The card base is Smoky Slate, and everything is matted on a thin Basic Black mat. And that’s it. A straightforward, old-fashioned card using Whiskey Business.
