Presto Chango

Earlier this month I attended On Stage, a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator event. One of the fun things to do at these events  is to swap.  Since I didn’t make a lot of time for my swaps, I pulled a few of my cards and made new versions. Here is a card from a class I held last spring. I love the Bermuda Bay and Blackberry Bliss color combo, with the dash of Delightful Dijon.

However, some of the elements for this card are retired, so I played around with some new elements and … Presto Chango … same card with new color combo!

My starting point was the Cajun Craze washi tape from the Moroccan Designer Washi Tape collection paired with the Dijon butterfly (thinking fall colors). Somehow I ended up adding Old Olive with Perfect Plum. Not a color combo I would have come up with on my own! That’s one of the fun things about play – you might come up with something unexpected.
